"Ben Barka : The Moroccan Equation" Not a new enquiry on the death in Paris in October 1965 of the Moroccan opposition leader Ben Barka, this film concerns his life, because in a way his premature disappearance also crossed him out of history. At the very moment that Morocco is trying to exorcise its past, this film brings together for the first time first-hand witnesses & archival records to present the outstanding development of this child of the 'medina' quarter, passionately interested in mathematics & politics, who became one of the leaders of his country's struggle for independence & political morrocan left, while taking a pre-eminent place in the Third World movement of the 60's.
